AMILLENNIALISM - We are now living in the 1,000 years, the Church Age from Jesus' First Coming to Jesus' Second Coming. There will be Hard Times with all of us Left Behind until His appearance at the End of Time. Then a mystical Taking of Saints into the New Jerusalem with the Goats Left Behind for the BBQ.

(Most widespread interpretation)

PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE - The Church will be taken up to Heaven before the start of 7 Years of Tribulation. Those Left Behind are all those who have not accepted Jesus as Lord. They will experience Hard Times with an Antichrist hacking and hewing. The Church will return with Jesus to rule over the Losers during a literal 1,000 year Millennium.

(About 1/3 of Protestants)

MID-TRIBULATION RAPTURE - We get to experience some Hard Times until around the middle of the 7 Years when we avoid the Bowls of Wrath. Up, up, and away but back with Jesus to rule in the Millennium.

(A few who can't make up their minds)

POST-TRIBULATION RAPTURE - We will all be here through Hard Times until Jesus' Second Coming. Then we are Taken with Him to rule over those Left Behind who live on as usual into the 1,000 year Millennium.

(Perhaps another 1/3 of Protestants)

LAST DAY RAPTURE - We will be here through a yet to come End Times Tribulation until Jesus' Second Coming. The 1,000 Years is as a Day (2 Peter 3:8) with all events in Heaven. We will continue on earth for a short time until the Battle of Armageddon. The Rapture of Taken Saints will happen at the Last Trumpet just before fire comes down from Heaven and destroys the Left Behind Goats. There will likely be 7 years of hardship for all with no Millennium, and a similar conclusion to Amillennialism.
